I would consider myself a relationship anarchist. I do not believe that love is a currency or a zero-some game. I believe that every relationship should be self-defined and without hierarchies. I have no interest in dictating another person's autonomy.
I am relatively new to relationship anarchy as I am still new to romantic relationships as a whole. Up until this point, my friendships have been my primary support system. This informs how I think about love. I love my friends. I have loved some romantically. In my life, I have watched hyper-exclusive relationships fall apart and turn into really ugly situations motivated by jealousy and dominat.... I have also seen many people abandon and neglect their friends as soon as they found a romantic partner. I cannot live under that paradigm.
