Music junky, poetry as well, love a good, cheesy eighties movie although the Cohen Bros. & Wes Anderson are probably my favorite film makers. Spend a lot of time outside hiking, mushroom hunting, fishing, camping, gardening...which brings me to food. Arguably my biggest passion in life. I love to cook it, grow it, look at it, dream about it, have long drawn out conversations about the origin of the universe with it, feel it, share it with friends, smell it, preserve it, hunt and forage for it and of course EAT IT! Just cured & smoked my first home made bacon & couldn't be happier with how it turned out. I experiment with home brewing and cheese making from time to time but definitely have a lot to learn in those arenas. Music is a huge driving force in my life & I listen to a broad range of tunes. Rarely pass up a chance to see a good live show. I'm a pretty solid guy with a great although at times twisted sense of humor. A real goof ball so to speak. I'm successfully (for now) self employed, own place, own car & hold it down with all the grown up aspects of life. I have a healthy passion for art and like to write, poetry mostly. Avid reader and I'm pretty obsessed with Tom Robbins at the moment. I like to lay on my back in the dark, fire one up and listen to old radio dramas. I like Mystery Science Theater and comic books. By comic books I don't mean Xmen or Superman although those are engaging in their own way but stuff like Thomas Ott & Scott A. Gilbert that stretch the boundaries of what a comic can be. The weird stuff I guess. I'm in a open, polyamorous relationship with a woman I love very much. Looking to meet an openminded, intellectual of sorts to share perspectives, adventures, jokes, music, and bull---- with. Should probably say I smoke tobacco & a modest amount of cannabis cause I know that is a deal breaker for some. I also have a dog Petunia and a cat Radish who are best friends & a pretty big part of my life.
