Was married/in LTR three times; have much greater calm and happiness now as a poly man. Have four, fully-aware, loving partners--each with a distinct relationship, but two are out of state. Looking for an open-minded thoughtful woman, age 35-60, in the DC area. I'm a sentimental, romantic man who is good friend; open to all races, most sizes and heights, hair colors; religions; professions. Also, looks are nice but certainly not everything. I'm highly intelligent, and while I don't need you to talk quantum mechanics, complexity theory, or geopolitics with me, I need you to not feel intimidated by such things. A good sense of humor is pretty important too--please be able to laugh at yourself. I enjoy outdoors, traveling, Smithsonian visits, reading, public speaking on occasion. I'm a writer/graphic artist on the side and government worker by day. Also a parent but children don't live with me. I like to joke around and keep things light.
