idealist in that i looking for that 'poly partner' (or partners) to supplement / complement my current relationship partner. that is to say, i am looking for a relationship separate from my current. idealist in that i can find someone 'local'. idealist in that i'd like for my partners to be my friend, my 'more than' friend, my friend, my lover, my companion through life. idealist in that my poly partner would understand what being poly means.realist in that it's been difficult to find my 'ideal' (and in many cases, even 'real'), or even someone who could be. realist in that i know poly 'can' be difficult, personally, relationally (is this a word), and socially. [if you don't understand, feel free to ask!] realist in that i hope to find 'real' and likely not completely 'ideal' (but oh so willing to work to make things work). realist in that 'local' is relative, but although ldrs are good, irl relationships are so much better.i'm a bit older, but young at heart and young in mind. i'm not the prettiest, and not the most fit, but imo i look pretty good for my age. striving to be non-judgmental, unbiased, non-discriminating is a continual work in progress, and desire the same qualities in a partner. and of course, the cornerstones of poly - communication, honesty, trust. and real would be nice for a change, i've had my share of scammers.i'm here now, is my future poly partner? i hope so!
